ITT’s Goulds Pumps ranked top centrifugal pump brand by Chemical Processing magazine

    September 6, 2012, Seneca Falls, NY—For the ninth consecutive year, ITT’s Goulds Pumps has been chosen as the most preferred pump brand by readers of Chemical Processing magazine.

    ITT’s Goulds Pumps is the No. 1 choice in the centrifugal pumps category in Chemical Processing magazine’s 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards survey, which received 1,157 responses. ITT’s Goulds Pumps was the top choice with 34 percent of the respondents who identified a pump brand—compared to 9 percent for its nearest competitor—a gain of 3 percent from 2011.

    The survey’s introduction explained that in addition to experience, many of the respondents noted they chose products based on knowledgeable local technical support and prompt, efficient customer service. Other factors that helped companies achieve recognition include a wide range of reliable, quality products; easy access to information via the Internet; and up-to-date technology offerings.
