| This 3-day course will provide participants with advanced knowledge and skills of the design and application of products produced by the AO (SPD), A-C and the markets and application to which they are applied. The course will introduce individuals to the key functions of AO (SPD) and their responsibilities in support of both direct and indirect sales.
You will learn to:
- identify the organizational structure of AO
- identify the characteristics of the AO / AC product lines, including submerged bearing 3171; slurry pumps 5500, 5800, 5300, 5000, JC, RX and CKX; submersible pumps JCU, HSU and HSUL; recessed impeller HS; and axial flow AF
- identify the competition for the AO product lines
- explain the AO Foundry process and technical capabilities
- identify the characteristics of pump construction to include hydraulic and mechanical design
- identify the function and application of dynamic seals
- explain the order process at AO
- explain the market applications for the AO product line
- identify the importance of system curves
- identify the function and application of mechanical seals in slurry pumps
- explain the function of the Warrick control box, stuffing box packaging, speed change calculations, the AO pricebook and RMOs
- explain the characteristics of the parts and service market for AO products
