Rear Impeller Wear Ring - The impeller is fitted with a carbon-filled TEFLON wear ring as standard (Pure TEFLON optional). Wear ring protects and prevents damage to impeller and critical areas of containment shell in unlikely event of bearing failure. Controls axial thrust for maximum bearing life.
