Seneca Falls, New York, USA - Goulds Pumps an ITT Industries Company, has recently released new ceramic media liners for Model SRL Slurry pumps. These new liners incorporate a layer of ceramic rods molded (CRM) and compressed with natural rubber to provide superior wear performance. The CRM liners offer a hard wear face that is combined with the resilience of natural rubber. The result is that the wear life of these liners in severe primary grinding applications, is two to four times that of standard all rubber liners alone. Because the CRM liners retain their geometry longer, original pump efficiency is maintained longer.

The longer wear life of the liners helps extend the life of the impeller and casing liners. Maintaining longer pump efficiency means that the mean time between maintenance (MTBM) is extended, which in turn reduces downtime and improves overall life cycle costs.

These new liners have been proven in field trials and have proven ideal for severe slag and ball mill circuits. The CRM liners are available for four (4) models of SRL-XT pumps and six (6) SRL-C models.

For more information on the new CRM liners contact Goulds Pumps at (570) 875-2660 or write Goulds Pumps, 500 East Centre St., Ashland, PA 17921.
